Robo-Entdecker ist ein Lernspiel, in dem Kinder ab 7 Jahren einen kleinen Roboter mit Blöcken programmieren und ihn durch eine Welt schicken, die der Zufall für jede Expedition neu baut.
Für iPhone, iPad und Android, auf dem Handy und auf dem Tablet. Die App spricht Deutsch und Englisch.
Die Welt ist endlos und reicht in alle Richtungen. Sie besteht aus Biomen wie Wiese, Wald, Strand, Sumpf, Wüste, Schnee und Gebirge, mit Wasser, Bäumen, Felsen und Tannen als Hindernissen. Im Sumpf braucht Robo doppelt so viel Akku.
Programmiert wird mit Blöcken, die man antippt oder zieht: fahre vorwärts, drehe links, drehe rechts und warte. Nach und nach kommen Schleifen (wiederhole n mal, wiederhole bis, solange), Bedingungen (falls) und Sensoren dazu, etwa „vorne frei“, „Ziel links“ oder „Wächter sichtbar“.
Jedes Programm lässt sich jederzeit zwischen Blöcken und Pseudocode umschalten, auf Deutsch oder Englisch. Beide Ansichten zeigen dasselbe Programm.
Ein Lernpfad aus Aufträgen führt Schritt für Schritt hinein: Erkunden und Liefern. Für gelöste Aufträge gibt es bis zu drei Sterne und neue Teile für Robo, zum Beispiel Greifer, Abstandssensor, Zielkompass und Wächter-Antenne.
Unterwegs patrouillieren Wächter. Wer ihren Weg beobachtet und den richtigen Moment abwartet, kommt vorbei.
Außer dem Lernpfad gibt es jeden Tag eine neue Tagesexpedition und eine freie Welt zum Ausprobieren.
Mit „Sag es Robo“ beschreibt das Kind in einem Satz, was Robo tun soll, und die App baut daraus ein Programm aus Blöcken. Robo nimmt dich dabei wörtlich. Die Funktion gibt es nur auf iPhone und iPad mit Apple Intelligence; das Sprachmodell rechnet dort auf dem Gerät. Ohne Apple Intelligence und auf Android programmiert man mit Blöcken, das Spiel bleibt vollständig spielbar.
Kein Konto, keine Werbung, keine Analyse, keine Absturzberichte. Die App baut selbst keine Verbindung ins Internet auf, das Spiel läuft offline. Spielstand und Einstellungen bleiben auf dem Gerät. Einstellungen wie der Schalter für „Sag es Robo“, der Lernstand und der Export liegen im Elternbereich. Er öffnet sich erst, wenn eine Rechenaufgabe gelöst ist.
Ab 7 Jahren. Am Anfang reichen drei Blöcke: fahre vorwärts, drehe links, drehe rechts. Schleifen, Bedingungen, Sensoren und die Pseudocode-Ansicht geben Älteren genug zu tüfteln.

Im Elternbereich lassen sich „Sag es Robo“ ausschalten, der Lernstand ansehen und der Spielstand als Text teilen. Der Elternbereich öffnet sich erst nach einer Rechenaufgabe.

Robo-Entdecker is a learning game in which children aged 7 and up program a little robot with blocks and send it through a world that is generated anew for every expedition.

The world is endless and reaches in every direction. It is made of biomes such as meadow, forest, beach, swamp, desert, snow and mountains, with water, trees, rocks and fir trees as obstacles. In the swamp Robo uses twice as much battery.
Programs are built from blocks that you tap or drag: move forward, turn left, turn right and wait. Step by step, loops (repeat n times, repeat until, while), conditions (if) and sensors are added, such as "path ahead clear", "goal to the left" or "guard visible".
Every program can be switched between blocks and pseudocode at any time, in German or English. Both views show the same program.
A learning path of missions leads in step by step: exploring and delivering. Solved missions earn up to three stars and new parts for Robo, for example gripper, distance sensor, goal compass and guard antenna.
Guards patrol along the way. Watch their route, wait for the right moment, and you get past.
Besides the learning path there is a new daily expedition every day and a free world to try things out.
With "Sag es Robo" ("Tell Robo") the child describes in one sentence what Robo should do, and the app turns it into a program of blocks. Robo takes you literally. The feature is available only on iPhone and iPad with Apple Intelligence, where the language model runs on the device. Without Apple Intelligence and on Android you program with blocks, and the game stays fully playable.
No account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reports. The app does not connect to the internet itself, and the game runs offline. Game progress and settings stay on the device. Settings such as the switch for "Sag es Robo", the learning progress and the export are in the parents' area. It opens only after an arithmetic problem has been solved.
From age 7. Three blocks are enough to start: move forward, turn left, turn right. Loops, conditions, sensors and the pseudocode view give older players plenty to work on.
